Glentleiten Open Air Museum of the District of Upper Bavaria


  • Educational hands-on programm “Wheat and Chaff” on the history of farming and processing of cereal in Upper Bavaria
  • Making and baking of sourdough bread in the historic wood-fired baking house with Master Baker Stefan Luidl
  • Traditional songs and dances related to the cereal harvest and threshing, performed by the school children of Großweil
  • Communal meal with the freshly baked bread and self-made butter
